So you bought yourself a packs of PLR articles. If you are going to use them as means of advertisement for your website, services and product, you need to learn editing it. Below are some general rules for you to follow. Emphasis on the language and layout of your PLR articles.

1. Focus on the wordings

Go through the whole length. Scan for any dubious and copious words. Remove redundancies and unnecessary sentences.

2. Magnetize readers

Your headline should grab the attention of the reader first. Only then will he/she continue to read. Follow up with either a witty joke, a question that throws a challenge or an unusual point of view.

3. Emphasis on a single message

In the few seconds that a reader spends on the message in the articles, will he get it? Get rid of content that is useless and irrelevant.

4. Help readers scan

You need to divide the message (Titles, Clarification, subtitles and tags) and insert the points to read first by consumers.

o Clarification

They are used to inform, not only to describe an image. After titles, readers focus on explanations.

These elements help readers scan quickly the article and attract them further on.

5. Bring out the essence of each idea

Use 10 to 20 words and 2 to 3 sentences for short paragraphs. This is the time for checking the grammar and to remove not important construction; modifiers, old phases, complex clauses. Remember to use active voice and remove ideas that can confuse the readers.

While you are finishing it, do not forget to have from time to time an overall look to make sure that you are still on the right track of your marketing plan. An article can very easily take a wrong direction. At this point it can be useful to have a team, because the others can tell you what you have forgotten to mention.
